Social skills and competences Open to new places, peoples, cultures and customs, tolerant, patient and cooperative person, capable to communicate easily with people from different ethnical, religious and cultural backgrounds, as well as to deal with people of all ages and conditions (Erasmus student for 6 months in London, Project Coordinator for 4 months in Qatar, more than 14 years of teaching activities, supervision of 7 PhD students and more than 30 undergraduate student’s final projects – see Teaching).
Organisational skills and competences Attentive and able to focus on the assigned tasks, but at the same time capable to choose priorities; strength of character that allows participating in team work and work individually – as the circumstances require; flexible and adaptable to performing a wide range of organizational tasks, able to take on responsibility initiative as well as leadership roles (experienced in coordination of projects and people – see Projects).
Technical skills and competences Responsible for the “Biomass Laboratory” at the University of Trento, expert and main supervisor of the handling with the following laboratory equipments: supercritical CO2 extractor; HTC (hydro-thermal carbonization) reactors – self designed and self-built at UniTN.
Computer skills and competences Excellent computer skills and significant experience with the use of: FORTRAN – programming language for numeric computation and scientific computing; ASPEN PLUS® – software package designed for process modelling and simulation; the Microsoft Office® tools (Microsoft Word®, Microsoft Excel®, Microsoft PowerPoint®) as well as the Internet.

Membership Since 2008 I’m a member of I.S.A.S.F. – International Society for Advancement of Supercritical Fluids. I’m member of AIDIC, the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering.
